Google Docs is a good source of classroom technology becasue the students can use Google Docs to collaborate on group projects, documents, etc. Google Docs is significant because all members of a group can work on the same document at the same time and not be pentalized. It gets rid of a bunch of mess and hassle of waiting for others to finish what they think needs to be done to their document or projects. I plan to use Google Docs in my classroom. My students can get into groups and work on a project and not be penalized for time as well. They can go home and work on their projects and all work on and edit the project at the same time. Google Doc is a great incorporation into the classroom.

PhotoStory in my Business Education classrooms.

PhotoStory a program used to make a presentation with pictures, sound, narration, and etc. was taught to me today in my Educational Technology class. I believe this program would be very useful in the classrooms. As a Business/Marketing Education major I believe I could use this program in my classes to teach students how to use Presentation software and PowerPoint all together. My students could get an idea about what they want to do for their presentation. It could be on any subject. For example, it could be about their life, it could be about what they want to do as a career one day, or it could even be about their friends. As you can see the whole presentation could be about anything, but the point of the presentation would be to get their creative juices flowing. While doing that they will learn how to use a software called PhotoStory, and they would learn how to use PowerPoint while making their title page for the PhotoStory. As a business teach I will be required to teach my students about technology and how to keep up with todays technilogically savy world. In order to do that I need to teach them about other programs that are not just related to Microsoft Office. Therefore, using PhotoStory as a way to teach other softwares would be a great idea.

Management Foundations...Blah, Blah, Blah

The most boring class I have ever taken is Management Foundations MNGT 3810. The classroom is very large, and it contains about 100 to 120 students. The teacher stands at the front of the classroom and uses a microphone to project his voice. In order to emphasize his lectures he uses power point presentations. This class is awful for many reasons. First, the teacher has a monotone voice, and he stands in front of the class and reads the lecture straight from the slides. Second, after reading the lecture from the slides, he talks about what the slide read, but he talks with his back toward the class, lectures like he is speaking with himself, and his microphone is never loud enough. Lastly, the class lasts from 3:00 to 5:30 in the afternoon. No student likes to sit in a classroom for that amount of time and listen to a teacher lecture about Management.
